I wish I had more pictures of this piece, commissioned by 20th Century Fox for Independence Day Resurgence. The scene never made the final cut, but this painting was to be hung on the wall of the oval office as the president walked the room with fighter pilots recounting the “Battle of Pittsburgh” from the first film. I wasn’t able to share this work at the time or for a few years after but…here it is.
